The Digital Hive

Bees are undoubtedly the creatures with the most impact on the ecosystem of our planet. In addition to the benefits they provide to nature, they also give us a tasty, beloved product with extraordinary nutritional and curative properties, such as honey.

For hundreds of years, humanity has managed to cultivate beekeeping, making it possible to mass-produce honey and bring it to our tables. Beekeepers are people who, with their hard work and sacrifice, manage to develop this noble enterprise.

Every day during work, they have extraordinary difficulties due to circumstances such as:

• Thefts from humans or animals
• Escape from the beehive ( swarming)
• Late harvest

Another challenge is global warming and climate change which are unpredictable and cause bees to experience stress, which causes their death. 

Future Block wants to help them by bringing the most advanced technology for the care and development of beekeeping, digitizing it as a process, facilitating the work of beekeepers, and maximizing production without removing the sense of satisfaction and uniqueness that this process offers.

For this, we have created the Digital Hive that will serve the beekeeper to see in real-time the vital data from the hives and help protect them from the abuse of humans or predatory animals.
